Condo and townhome sales in Downtown Vancouver continue to slow down as the market faces a downturn with the recent interest rate hikes. Vancouver East and West also experienced similar market trends.

Yaletown and Downtown Sell the Fastest in Downtown Vancouver
Downtown Vancouver condos and townhomes sold at a 25% sales ratio, compared to previous month’s 30% sales ratio. The fastest selling neighbourhood was Yaletown, bringing in a 30% sales ratio from 261 new listings and 79 sales. Close behind, Downtown condos and townhomes sold at a 29% sales ratio from 320 new listings and 93 sales. Coal Harbour and West End condos and townhomes sold much slower, collectively bringing in 329 new listings and 54 sales (16% sales ratio).

Vancouver Eastside Condos and Townhomes
Eastside Neighbourhoods That are Selling at Over 100% Sales Ratios
Vancouver East sold the fastest of the 3 Vancouver areas, bringing in a 42% sales ratio. There were multiple neighbourhoods within Vancouver East that sold very fast. Champlain Heights and Killarney sold extremely well with a combined 113% sales ratio from 15 new listings and 17 sales. Hastings and Hastings Sunrise also sold extremely fast with a 111% sales ratio from 18 new listings and 20 sales.

Vancouver Westside Condos and Townhomes
Vancouver West condos and townhomes sold at 35% sales ratio in May. Kitsilano, Fairview and Mount Pleasant condos and townhomes all sold the fastest with a combined 79% sales ratio from 154 new listings and 121 sales.
Despite being along the Canada Line Skytrain, South Cambie and Oakridge sold the slowest in Vancouver West this May. Coimbined, South Cambie and Oakridge had 57 new listings and only 6 sales (10% sales ratio). You can take a look at condos and townhomes available in South Cambie and Oakridge here.
