The West End of Vancouver is one of the most diverse areas of the City. From fabulous tree lined streets peppered with heritage homes, quaint apartments, to million dollar condos with spectacular views. English Bay is a huge attraction for visitors and locals alike. Whether you are packing a picnic for a day at the beach or your swim suit for a few laps at Second beach pool, one could easily spend morning to night without having to go far for anything. Street vendors famous for their smokies, food trucks serving mouth watering dishes, fish and chip take outs, and world class restaurants selling every cuisine in between. Looking for a bike for the day to explore the city, Denman Street is the place to go. Touring around the area, cruising the sea wall and exploring Stanley Park are perfect things to do in the West End. Davie Street is home to the City’s gay community and has some of the best burger bars, diners and wine merchants around. Summertime sunsets at the beach, the annual firework competition “Celebration of Lights” and the famous Inukshuk statue that was the inspiration for the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games logo, can all be found in the beautiful West End.
