This neighbourhood is one of the farthest east in Vancouver, which borders Burnaby directly to the east and North Vancouver across the Second Narrows. It’s also a terrific place to settle down. There’s a mix of detached, single-family homes, or condos and townhomes depending on the prospective residents’ preferences. Hastings Park is the biggest attraction in the neighbourhood - and with good reason. Aside from hosting an amusement park called Playland at the PNE and its events throughout the year, the Park is also host to several events facilities and arenas such as the Pacific Coliseum, Empire Field, Hastings Racecourse, the Agrodome, Opera Walk, Slidey Slides Park. The neighbourhood also features several schools, specifically for elementary school grades.
